Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument

This Juneteenth Trip also allowed me to mark off another National Park Unit - Number 382 / 433!

First we stopped at the two primary overlooks - the Snake River Overlook and the Oregon Trail Overlook.

Then we headed to the small Visitor Center, where they have some fossils on display. The one that interested me the most was the Hagerman Horse, which went extinct about 10,000 years ago.
