Hopewell Culture NHP

I'm really not the biggest fan of ancient native mounds. So, I was less than thrilled about having to visit Hopewell Culture NHP. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the place, with mounds, or the fact that these are protected. It just really doesn't interest me that much, especially since we've been to other mound sites before. I think I would like them so much more if they actually had one open so the public can see how they are constructed, etc. That would be interesting. But, no place does that at this time, so, eh. Regardless, it was a nice day and we walked around the field and checked out the wee hills.
