Coffeeneuring

Coffeeneuring is an annual biking-for-a-fall-beverage challenge. Here’s the short version of what it entails:

• Occurs on select dates between October and November;

• Ride your bike 7 times,

• To at least 6 different places (you can repeat 1!)

• At least 2 miles round trip every time,

• Max 2 rides per week,

• Drink 7 total cups of coffee (or another approved fall-type beverage), and

• Document your coffeeneuring (you can use these hashtags: #coffeeneuring and/or #coffeeneuring[insert year]

Although coffeeneuring starts in October, it is still really hot in Arizona, especially biking for hot beverages. So, our first coffeeneuring ride on October 12, 2025, was to our favorite bar for a fall-like beverage: an Oktoberfest bier!

One of my favorite beers is Huss Brewing Co.'s Koffee Kölsch. It is some delicious tasking coffee-flavored Kölsch, and I know they have it in cans at Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers down the street. I figured I would count this ride on October 14, 2025, as my second-ride-in-a-week in the event life gets in the way of future rides :)

This ride on October 19, 2025, I was out for my own for a quick ride around the neighborhood to ensure I got my coffeeneuring in for the week. Cupz N' Crepes is my favorite place to go to for a "fun" hot beverage - they have many tasty and sweet coffees. So, I don't go here often, I do enjoy it as a treat once in awhile. The coffeeneuring spirit is to bring your own cup to reduce waste, and they were happy to use my cup instead of one of their own.

Scott and I wanted to have a nice morning at a coffee shop, so we biked up to The Buzzed Goat on October 26, 2025. It was aptly decorated for Halloween, and we sat and enjoyed a nice beverage.

I wanted to go out for an early morning bike ride on November 5, 2025, before work and I knew I would end my ride before the fun coffee shops opened for the morning. So, after my ride, I stopped by the local Starbucks, which opens really early. I "may" come here often, so my barista gladly took my coffee order and put it in my trusty transport cup :)

Today's ride on November 10, 2025, we decided to explore a new place in the neighborhood. The coffee was meh and I'll likely not be back unless I really need the place for a future coffeeneuring ride.
